The Greatest Elevation Changes
Laguna Seca is a must-drive track in one of the most beautiful places in the country. It boasts a huge elevation change as you travel up the back side of the track to one of the most famous turns in racing, the Corkscrew, where you crest a blind hill and then feel like you drop almost straight down into turn 8a, a tight right hander.

The Corkscrew is up at the top of the hill in this photo. The highest elevation change of any track in the country.

This 2.23 mile road course is one of the classics and just a blast to drive. Laguna is one of the few facilities in the U.S. that meets global safety standards due to a multi-million dollar investment in the a variety of track modifications, including the creation of major run-off areas. You can see the quick and severe drop off in the picture below. Look at the elevation difference between the bike at the top of the picture and the bike at the bottom.

The track hosts the U.S. Grand Prix motorcycle races, the American LeMans Series, and a wide variety of other school and club events. Laguna is also the home to Monterey Historics, the largest vintage car weekend in the United States.

The facility is just a few miles from the ocean and is the perfect spot to vacation and race. We highly recommend attending any event at Laguna, and if you ever get the chance to race there, you'll be a fan for life.
